How do most newspapers make money?

Making a newspaper takes a lot of money. How do these newspapers make money so they can give you the news that you need to know? It takes selling ads, Merchandising, and Consulting. They have to be fast because they need to give you the news that you need to hear.

Letting people/business, events, etc. know that they can let people who read there newspaper know. It gives the business, event, etc. make money and the newspaper can make money. In addition, having different price rages instead of just one also helps.

Merchandising also helps. Having t-shirts with the logo or name of the newspaper would help. You could have cups, t-shirts, bands, pins, posters, etc. It lets people in the community or all over knows that you are there and it helps the newspaper get money.

Consulting other journalists who are professions. Journalist usually have to get there news fast and make sure that it is truthful. If newspapers have, trust worthy journalist people can come and pay to get information. This gives newspapers money.

Having a newspaper takes time and money. Newspapers have to sell ads, merchandising, and consulting to make the money. They have to be fast because they need to give you the news that you need to hear.

What is news?

“Is news something that you read? Is it something that you hear? Is it something that you watch? Is it something that you get from friends? What makes news different from other types of communication?” News today is what is happening around the world. Three things news is events, problems, and information. The news is all around is in many different ways.

Events that are happening around the world are very important to know about. For example: (Government) the Presidential Election, (Hollywood) the Academy Awards, and (Weather) an Earthquake hit New York. It could be on the radio while your driving home or in the newspaper as you drink your cup of coffee , or it could be on the TV while you workout.

Problems are also in the news. If there is a controversy, if someone said something that not all people agree with. Of if, a sickness is going around that you want to protect your kids and yourself. The news will tell you if there are a problem and try to figure out how to correctly handle it.

The news is also information. It will tell you what is happening in your neighbor hood or what the latest trend is. Information on people for example, January Jones gave birth to a baby Boy. It also could be about what is the latest bill that could be passes in Congress. Information in the news could be anything that is worth being reported.

The news to me is something that tells what is happening around the world today. It tells me about events that are happening, problems that need to be handled, or the latest information, which is worth being reported. The News today can be heard, watched, read, etc., which helps the world today know what is going on out there.

Journalist are….

In 3, 2, 1… What is a Journalist? Is it the person who is reporting the news on the TV, the writer who wrote that awesome article about your favorite celebrate, or that person you heard on the radio who is telling you if there was an accident? Journalists are mostly people who work with the media, and if you said, yes to all of them then you are right. Journalist, also have to have experience, creativity, and a dream to be successful.

To have experience is to know what you’re talking about. To go into one of these types of careers you have to work hard in English, Latin, Photography, and being quick in creativity. Journalists usually have a tight deadline. They have to be able to work fast and under a lot of pressure. Journalists usually start when they are young. For example: they might have started by first just writing essays, or working in there high school newspaper. In addition, learning how to proofread your writing is also a major talent that you have to have.

A good journalist knows how to not just write something, take a plain picture, just say what you have to say it (radio), or just report the news (TV). They make the news interesting with there words, pictures, and voice, and hand movements. They know how to make it creative, unique, it’s own kind. That’s why you see a difference in CNN, Fox News, and MSNBC.

A journalist is someone who works hard to make sure the people are a where of what is going on in the world today. They use there creative with the computer, radio, pictures, and broadcast. They can use anything anywhere to give news. Showing there true dream, experience, and creativity to give there best in everything that they do.

What I think of media of today

Breaking news, Breaking news, what do you think when year that. Do you run and read, listen, or watch what is happening or do you just brush it off? Many people think different things. Young people could think what ever y the news is boring or they could run to it and find out it’s about one of there favorite celebrities. While an older person could just rush as fast as they can and read, listen or watch it. It depends. Interviewing a few people who are in totally different age groups made me think about what the people think of the news.

Since we are in the 21st century more people are getting there news from the Television. It’s easy just to click on a switch and there is all the news setup in an orderly format. Basically, you can get all the information that you need in about an hour or sometimes less. You can get your celebrities, politicians, and local news in just 30 minutes. The technology of today is just wonderful. All the people that I interviewed all agreed that the way news its today that it can very easily expand. Now, you can get your news by text message, Twitter, Facebook , Kindle, Nook, IPhones , computers, Laptops, etc. The list can just go on.

The thing is some people just watch the news just to watch it and some people watch it to know what is going on in the world today. Some people don’t care were they get the know because as long as it is news. Even if it is not the truth or a totally trust worthy source. For example, some people like to get there news of National Inquirer which has been know to lye about most of there stories. In addition, some people like to get there news of NBC Nightly News.

Even though some people have different opponents and ways that they get the news, the news will always be there for many generations. Some people like to get there news fast and some people don’t even care. Some people like to get only certain news instead of everything. The people of today and myself are just waiting and seeing what is going to be next.
